Our Grade II-listed manor house is one of South Yorkshire's brightest gems – a 17th-century treasure packed with period details and surrounded by picturesque landscaped gardens. And our team is just as valuable. Experienced and dedicated, they always work hard to make sure you feel supported and your big day goes just as you dreamed it.

Of course. The manor house was completed in 1692 and designed in the Jacobean style (its distinctive mix of flat and gable roofing is characteristic of Jacobean architecture). The house changed hands several times over the centuries, until it eventually fell into disrepair. Finally, the house was redeveloped and reopened as a hotel in the 1990s – and today, it's in better shape than ever. Learn more about the history of Hellaby Hall.

Yes. As a licensed venue, we'd be delighted to host your 'I dos'.

If you want to get married at the hotel, please call ahead to check we can accommodate your ceremony on your chosen date. We can hold the date for up to 14 days with no commitment from you.

Please contact the Rotherham registrar's office to perform your ceremony. The hotel is not responsible for arranging your legal ceremony. Please also note that we charge £300 in addition to your wedding package to host your ceremony.

No – never. At Hellaby Hall, we treat every wedding with the care and attention it deserves. That's why we only ever host one wedding per day. 

Yes. Located in the original manor house, the Fretwell Suite is our grandest and most well-appointed suite. It boasts a large lounge area, handpicked furnishings and a grand four-poster bed. Perfect, we think, for your first night as a married couple.

Depending on your package, we can accommodate anywhere from 80 to 120 evening guests. Want a large, lavish celebration? With our exclusive use option, we can host up to 250 of your favourite people. 

Yes, absolutely. We'd be happy to host an intimate wedding with your nearest and dearest. Why not consider our charming Drawing Room, which can accommodate up to 30 people for a wedding banquet?

We have a wide selection of function rooms to accommodate ceremonies of all sizes. Learn more about our lavish wedding spaces.

Yes. Our packages come with a night of entertainment courtesy of our resident DJ.

If you'd prefer to arrange your own entertainment, you're free to do so at no additional charge. However, we would need to see a copy of the performer's public liability insurance (minimum £5 million coverage) and PAT testing certificates.

Where should we start? We're lucky to have our own Grade II-listed manor house, which is full of charming, elegant spaces – each as photogenic as the next. Our beautiful landscaped gardens are also popular for photo sessions.

Yes. We have more than 200 – 250 parking spaces on site. These are free for guests to use.

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your wedding, we will charge according to the notice period given:

• 24 weeks to wedding date: 50% of balance of contract is due as cancellation fee
• 12 weeks to wedding date: 75% of balance of contract is due as cancellation fee
• 4 weeks to wedding date: 100% of balance of contract is due as cancellation fee

Your £1,000 deposit is non-refundable.
