MEET the maestro behind our menus

If you've tasted our food, you'll know there's something special going on behind the scenes. That's all thanks to Jamie Pepper, our head chef and culinary maestro. It's his talent, passion and dedication that make our menus so mouthwatering. Let's see what makes him tick.

Jamie and Hellaby Hall couldn't be a better match. He's a local lad with a burning passion for good, locally sourced food. We're a hotel that's immensely proud of its 300-year Yorkshire heritage – and that always aims to support our region's hardworking farmers and suppliers. It's the stuff culinary dreams are made of.

But passion is only part of the picture. Jamie has years of experience leading fast-moving kitchen teams – and a rare talent for infusing Great British food with international ideas. After sharpening his skills at local restaurants and gastropubs, he's now firmly established as the culinary voice of Hellaby Hall. We couldn't be happier to have him on board.

For you, of course, it's all about the flavour. Good news: that's where Jamie excels. His dishes are always perfectly presented, often surprising and consistently, delightfully delicious.
